Somebody evidently stole the digital camera while we were hosting the kenduri lunch for grandma who passed away several years ago. What kind of sick asshole does that? So now my mom and brother constantly tsk tsk me, it's like they're undermining my ability and it's my fault some asshole decides to steal the camera, the phone, the wallet. Agh.

My ex-landlord was another asshole too. I had moved into my new place, when 2 weeks later, ah longs (illegal cash lenders) came over the house and demanded that we pay them. AND GET THIS, they told us that our landlord asked them to get the money from our house because we did not pay yet. BULLSHIT. I paid RM 350 in advance. Then the cops came over, and apparently our landlord is wanted. The final straw came when Syabas (Water company) came over and cut the water pipe. Apparently, our landlord had been siphoning money from our next door neighbour.

Sighhhh.

So all that money = burn. When I moved out I grabbed anything and everything that I could - clean mattresses, bed frame, laundry basket. My bf even took the ASTRO dish and we found someone who'll buy it for RM 150 ahaha. Serves the bastard right. From having a 3 floor bungalow full with 30 ++ occupants with 2 fridge + 1 tv + 30++ bed frames, because of what he did and what he is, he now has just an empty bungalow with no occupants and no furniture. Good luck with trying to scrap some money to pay back the ah long. You can sell your ass at Pudu, kay.

And I am on a TRUE BLOOD binge. It truly is awesome. Bill Compton better suck me dry!

I am seriously a person with bad luck! There was this one time where my phone and wallet was stolen in the same week, a motorbike crashed into my car a few seconds after I thought about an accident might happen to me, and last weekend I left my brother's camera at my auntie's house. I called my auntie frantically an hour after I left her house, but she said she couldn't find it =/ So now I have to make a 2 hour drive to my auntie's place to find it myself. Please god, hope I find it *fingers crossed*. I have to skip a class this morning, ughhh!!!

Now that the whole H1N1 scare has surpassed UiTM Shah Alam we can resume our normal pace of classes. Finally!! God, we've been bumming around forever and it's scary cos our final exams are only 3-4 months away! Stupid influenza flu has got us all on our tiptoes. I read that those deaths are causes by severa pneumonia and most of the victims are obese, so maybe there's some kind of link between that.

I myself went to a government hospital (Sg. Buloh) and the nurse checked my temperature, and I'm not sure whether it was a throat swab - she inserted a wooden stick inside my mouth then proceeded to throw it away. The doctor himself just checked me using a stethescope and sent my off my way, not before giving me a list on furthur H1N1 symptoms. It's kind of scary how one of the victim (a 20 year old girl!) went to the clinic and she complained of fever, cough and sore throat - all those symptoms I harboured last week. She was given outpatient treatment! (Some) doctors are really stupid; they don't realize that we go to them because we trust our lives and wellbeing with them. if they don't take it seriously, this is what leads to the death, that they think it's just fever, nothing else.

Perhaps they need to educate people on the full grasp of how deadly the flu can be, because most of us take it lightly. Especially students like me (I've asked around).

Finally! I have found a room to stay in Shah Alam - the owner, Encik R, seems really nice and friendly, and the rent is okay (RM 150 per month, include bills) and it's fully furnished! Can't wait to movie in. I also applied for biasiswa since I'm attending IPTA, so please god, wanna get it so I can go shopping hur hur. Looking at [info]ourbedrooms  for ideas. Like I'm moving out to another place, lol. I don't know why, I must be the only person to actually enjoy doing assignments! I hate going to classes but I enjoy doing the individual assignments =P

I prefer to photoblog nowadays, which has its pros and cons. PROS. I don't need lengthy description about the memory I want to describe and you don't have to read me yapping and babbling away. CONS. Eh. None, haha. I should set up my own photoblog. So to start, here are some way overdue photographs!

I wish I could have time to stop and smell the roses but life is crazy hectic! I read that [info]lynfunkstar posted an entry regarding the sonar eclipse which will happen today.. in Malaysia it'll take place around 9.07 a.m. and I would love just to pause, take a second and look at this remarkable event with my boyfriend (who I got mad at yesterday - pms, okay!) and just skip class.

But I have an individual presentation =( Ahh, I miss going out on the romantic dates with him, it's been a while since he made me heart skip a beat. Dup dup dup. I had a weird dream last night too - I dreamt that Mariah Carey and Sam Ronson were writing songs together on a holiday in Malaysia because Sam thought Mariah could make really good songs. That makes sense.. except Sam brought a banana boat all the way from the States and Mariah brought her... mom and sister who looked so much like her, as I remember recalling in my dream.

I have weird dreams.

Trying to get used to the student life, with classes at 10.30 am - 12.20 pm and the next one starting at 6 pm finishing til 10 pm, woot. Right now I'm going back and forth to home until next month, which is when I start renting a room nearby my uni, so it's kinda tiring leaving 2 hours early from class due to the traffic and whatever. My cousin Lin came back from UK so we're gonna party it up, woot, haha. Met her yesterday, girl lost a lot of weight, good for her!

I have class at 8 pm tonight, so probably have to leave around 6 pm, but have to check out the car beforehand (there's this whirring sound. not good) blegh. Uni life sucks balls.

Last Thursday, I finally got over my fear of gayat (heights) by rock-climbing at Camp5, where my boyfriend works. I'm still nauseous at the thought of climbing 8 meter high walls, but it was fun and challenging! Pictures describes it better!

Mmm.. chicken. </div>
There wasn't enough time/harness/routes for me to do the rock climbing and honestly, I confess that I think I was trying to put it off. It doesn't look huge in the pictures, but the caves are horrifyingly high and gigantic, and I'd like to practice a wee bit more before I try to conquer the rough terrains. I want to keep doing this, but Camp5's cost are too pricey (RM 30++ including harness and shoes) for me so I'll try out at Shah Alam or Wangsa Maju.

If you haven't done rock climbing you should try it out. It's free for first timers (Camp5). Sounds like I'm doing promo or ad work for them but I'm not =P

Life passes by like a ride on a carousel. Most days, I do not remember how I spend my hours the day before. It's all such a blur. I waste my time away! It scares me that I am not more organizational, that I procrastinate and do not know how to prioritize. I only get things done when there's a deadline and it's the absolute final 23rd hour.

I am scared that in truth, I really do not have the "grand plan" in life, and that I don't really give a damn. I feel like a shell, clinging onto a rock, as the waves pound on me, the sprays of water hitting me, I am clinging on for dear life, but really, I am lost at sea.

Those interested in Malaysian properties and real estates might do property search from time to time to find more information. This particular web-site is helpful and provides details on 246 properties, mainly Kuala Lumpur. However, there are also information on properties in Selangor, Penang, and Negeri Sembilan.

The web-site also provides other features, such as the 'search' feature, which helpful for those who want to target a specific property, and the photographs helps reviewers a lot. Reviewers can even edit the data if it seems false, which makes the information unbiased. I like the ‘map’ feature, which enables reviewers to see where the location of the property is. The ‘answer’ feature is a great touch, where the reviewer can ask any questions regarding the property and it will be answered promptly.

All in all, the website has great information on Malaysian properties, especially for locations in Kuala Lumpur, and hopefully will include more properties in the future.

If YOU are living in Malaysia and looking for room to let and/or roommate, the CariBilik web-site suits you as it is really informative and simple to use! The room rates are as cheap as RM 135! The listings provide details on prices and facilities available. It lists rooms available in all states in Malaysia, from Kuala Lumpur to Sarawak.

The site is very easy to use and navigate. All one has to do is sign up and make a post. Most posts include details about the room and area itself, such as amentities and facilities, as well as details on how to contact the person.

In my opinion, the only downside is the lack of photographs which might help potential renters to know actually what they might be renting for. So if you are seeking a room or a roommate, visit the web-site for more details.

Egh.
Aaaahhh! It's so hard to find a bikini top that fits perfectly and is within my budget range because my boobs are huge. HUGE! I always have to take the L or XL size =( I went to Sunway yesterday to try and find some good bikinis.. Ahh, definately frustrated because the ones that do have my size is waaaay too overbudget.

I prefer to stick to SOLID (BLACK PLEASE) colours so my boobs won't look like they want to eat Perhentian Island but my bf wants those FUNKY colours. He likes anything but black. Generally I like anything but black to wear too, but with so much cleavage to expose I should stick to normal colours..

Their Forever 21 hasn't stocked up on bikinis yet, and anyway if they do the material is probably so flimsy. I don't think I would fancy going up to my Operations Manager (40 plus old male git) asking for staff discount for the bikinis...

Billabong had a good one on discount (after is RM 94.10!) which I can definately afford. But it's pink and the bottom is huge!

Roxy was just waaaay too expensive (RM 300++) for bikinis which probably would have my boobs flopping out anyway.

Island Shop had good bikinis but my boyfriend hated the colour (it's black with red piping) and the turquoise is kinda revealing too. I reserved it anyway, the price is around RM100.

I went to PLAYAZ (lol) but they had very few choices =( Definately affordable and pretty, but it's for Paris-Hilton chests. Boo.

To summarize. BIG B00BS aren't all that jazz! I wish I had B cups. Then I wouldn't be so afraid to flaunt it hee hee.

Mwehehe. I could get into so much trouble for dishing the dirts on Malaysian shopper. I have come to realise the full extension of what it means to work in a retail store, where your face is a blurred image to other people, and they look at you as if you're dirt.

Girls. Stop being a bitch when you shop. Do you know how measly the pay is? Rarely do you find a shop where they pay more than RM 5 per hour. That's less than USD $2, per hour. In one day, it's 8 hours. RM 40. Equals to...

USD $11.35 FOR 8 HOURS!!

We slave ourselves to bend over and pick up all the trash the loving customers leave us, to re-fold clothes they pick up and then just toss away into a curled up ball - all for the sake of USD $11.35 for one day! Who the hell can live on that. Feet aches, you spend half your money on new shoes hoping it'd provide you some sole relief, but contemplating the pay, it really isn't that much. It's a pittance!

I admit, I envy girls who are born rich and don't have to worry a thing about working. I've been working since I was 16 years old and I feel so old! I feel so underpaid!

Under the Labour Law (Malaysia);

The normal work hours of an employee shall not exceed 8 hours in one day or 48 hours in one week.

That's bullshit. I've worked in 2 retail stores and both have asked me to work full (11 hours per day) and minimum of working hours per week is 53 hours!

An employer who fails to make contributions to EPF shall be guilty of an offense and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to a fine not exceeding RM10,000 or to both.
The place where I am currently working at does not pay EPF. Rather, we are given our wages weekly at a flat rate of RM 5 per hour. So if I was to file a complain, this company can actually be sued.

A company or firm with one or more employees whose individual earnings do not exceed RM1,000 a month has to register with SOCSO. The contributions for such employees are borne solely by the employer.
We have at least fifteen (15) workers! Ha! Take that, you chockful of megachain retail store. Nope, no socso here either.

All taken from http://www.jobsdb.com.ph/MY/EN/V6HTML/JobSeeker/handbook/regulation-of-employment

Obviously the Labour Law is being ignored by "standard" retail stores as many requires their staff to work more than 8 hours in a day several days a week. The Labour Law should state a minimum wage (of higher value) which would encourage more students to hold part-time jobs longer and prevent the high rate of "quitting" (to put it delicately). In the states kids are getting as much as USD $8 (MINIMUM!).

Honestly, the pay is lousy, non-encouraging yet most of us students need it to survive the following college intake or simply to support our lifestyle. I don't think I can take much more of looking at snobbish people's faces (some customers la, jangan perasan if it's not you) where they think just because they're shopping in your store apparently their money goes directly to your pocket.
